The opening of a new Arby's in Centereach didn't go quite as planned.
The Brookhaven fire marshal says the fast food chain didn't have its Certificate of Occupancy finalized before opening on Thursday.
The fire marshal issued a cease-and-desist until the Arby's received its final approvals from the Town's Division of Fire Prevention.
Arby's Owner Barry Luvman says the restaurant's CO was approved Friday. "We had to resolve some issues with the fire marshal, and make sure everything was good to go, which we are, we have our CO," he says.
The Arby's opened just it's drive-through Friday night and a line of cars wrapped around the building.
The owner says it will fully open Saturday.
