Bayonne is set to unveil a 20th anniversary statue to the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks in front of City Hall next month.
A chunk of steel from the World Trade Center is embedded in the monument. The unveiling ceremony will be held on April 6 at 11 a.m. in front of City Hall.
The existing memorial in Bayonne was a gift from Russia, but the city decided to cover up Vladimir Putin's name after there were calls for the memorial to be torn down.
