Monmouth Co. handyman charged with 429-counts of child porn, sex crimes
A Monmouth County handyman was indicted Friday on hundreds of counts of child sex assault and the manufacturing of child pornography.
Clement Bilski Jr., 43, was charged with 74 counts of first-degree aggravated assault, 30 counts of second-degree aggravated sexual assault and 295 counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child by the manufacture of child pornography. Charges handed up by a grand jury also include criminal restraint, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct.
Authorities say Bilski was a self-employed contractor from 1998 to 2005 when he preyed upon nine girls and two boys between the ages of 23 months and 8 years. The Monmouth prosecutor says Bilski offered children toys and candy to stay quiet after abusing them in their homes. They also say he used a plunger to sexually assault one of his victims. Bilski is already in custody on charges stemming from an earlier indictment of distributing child pornography.
