A mobile hygiene shower trailer opened this weekend in Morris Plains.
The station is available to anyone who needs the amenities it offers.
The trailer was created by the nonprofit Power Changes Lives.
“The right to shower is fundamental to everyone. Everyone deserves that right. So, it doesn't matter if you're homeless or a neighbor in need, the right to access water is paramount,” says Penelope Lopez, president and CEO of Power Changes Lives.
Lopez says three showers are available along with a sink, toilet and bathroom.
There is also a washer and dryer, and a community room for other services, like medical and dental.
