State police say a 75-year-old woman died Sunday in a car crash on the Turnpike in Chesterfield Township.
Authorities say Maria Irgui, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, died after the car she was riding in was rear ended on the Turnpike around 2:30 a.m.
They say John Farah, also of Attleboro, was driving a Nissan when a 23-year-old from Mount Laurel, who was driving a Ford, ran into the back of his car. The impact caused both vehicles to strike the center median, police say.
Farah, 64, and the driver of the Ford both suffered from minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
