There will be no repeat Super Bowl champion this year.
The New York Giants continued their late-season surge by posting their fourth straight victory, a 37-20 road win at Green Bay that eliminates the Packers from the playoffs. They are the first roadteam to win a playoff game this year. The Giants have won four straight playoff games on the road dating back to 2008 when they won the Super Bowl.
Eli Manning tossed three TD passes, including a pair to Hakeem Nicks, who caught seven passes for 165 yards. Manning completed 21 of 33 passes for 330 yards, or 10 yards per attempt.
The Giants will get a chance for a fifth straight road playoff victory next Sunday when they travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers for the NFC championship and a trip to the Super Bowl on Feb. 5.
