The crash happened shortly
before along Saint Georges Avenue.
A witness says the woman
driving the car hit the gas instead of the brakes. The car then jumped the
curb, hitting the worker before slamming into a furniture
store.
Mayor Derek Armstead says the
injured man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
