(06/28/06) DOVER ? Police say a man used his Dodge Ram as a potential murder weapon during a vehicle rampage in Dover Township.

According to police, the incident began when police responded to a domestic disturbance call on Elizabeth Avenue. Investigators say 48-year-old Lawrence Massaro later snapped and began mowing people down with his truck. According to police, Massaro?s first victim was a child on a bike.

Massaro is then accused of striking a police officer and accelerating his vehicle directly at a police cruiser occupied by officer Patrick Delane. Investigators say that collision was so forceful, it ripped the front tire off Massaro?s truck. The suspect was later taken into custody. No one was seriously hurt.
