Livingston Chinese Association donates PPE to police department
The Livingston Chinese Association donated PPE to the town’s police department Thursday afternoon.
The organization formed its town task force of 80 families to help local workers who are fighting the virus on the front lines.
The group brought 12,000 surgical masks shipped from China to donate to hospitals and senior centers around Livingston.
“We understand that personal protection equipment is very short nowadays,” says the organization's chairman George Shen. “We need it in the hospital. We need it in the senior department. We need it in the functional group that is currently working, like the police department and health business supporting our daily life."

This is the second donation the group has made. They donated 8,000 masks three weeks ago and plan to continue to help when they can.
