Judge considers new details in Patrick the pit bull case
A judge will be reviewing new details from the state child welfare agency regarding the case of Patrick the pit bull.
Former owner Kisha Curtis was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly leaving her pit bull abandoned in a Newark trash bin on the verge of death. The dog was rescued and has since become the face for animal abuse.
Curtis, who has turned down plea deals, will avoid jail time and have the charge wiped from her record if she completes a pretrial program, according to the judge.
