The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has advice for those headed to the Shore to do some gambling.
According to the division of consumer affairs ?games of chance? may not involve chance at all. They warn patrons to make sure all games have a license. They also say to look out for games that may be deceiving, like the basketball toss.
Some say the rims in the games are bent and when the ball hits it, it bounces away. Joe Lelievre, who has managed Seaside Amusements for the last 10 years, says the game is fair. He says anyone has a chance to win and those who don?t, don?t have the skill.
The agency asks anyone to contact them if they feel that they've been cheated at an amusement game on the shore.
