Jenkinson's Boardwalk reopens after 'unsubstantiated bomb threat'
One of the Jersey Shore's most popular destinations will be open this morning.
A spokesperson told News 12 New Jersey that authorities shut down Jenkinson's Boardwalk on Sunday night after receiving what's believed to be an "unsubstantiated bomb threat."
Police swept the area, but were unable to find anything suspicious. A few local streets in the area were closed while the investigation was underway.
The boardwalk and businesses have since reopened.
