Hundreds of protesters rally outside Christie announcement
Gov. Chris Christie's announcement that he's running for president isn't making everybody's hit parade.
Several hundred protesters rallied outside Livingston High School on Tuesday as Christie made his announcement inside.
Many carried signs that ran from the caustic to the humorous. One man held a sign that read: "Christie for President: Fuhgeddaboudit."
Many of the protesters represented teachers, public employee unions and environmental groups. All have clashed with Christie over the last several years.
Several people said Christie has gone back on his promises to fund public employee pensions. Others said he has weakened environmental protections.
