New Jersey is expected to see an increase in humidity this week as temperatures rise.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says he is also tracking the potential for strong storms on Tuesday.
WHAT’S NEXT: Cold front later Tuesday will bring scattered showers and storms through the second half of the day. Weather should clear enough for Wednesday to see more sun and temperatures to stay hot. Less humid conditions, cooler rest of week. Think “fall preview” as September begins.
OVERNIGHT: A few passing clouds. Temperatures cool into the low-70s.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny, late-day strong to severe storms possible. Highs between 85-90.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, warm and dry. Highs between 85-90.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, cooler and less humid. Highs between 80-85.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and milder. Highs in the mid-80s.
