House tour shows the ‘softer’ side of Paterson
The annual Eastside Neighborhood Association House and Garden Tour is taking place in Paterson this weekend.
It is a chance for homeowners on the city's eastside to show the softer side of Paterson, a city known for its toughness.
"We are proud to say that we are from the Eastside, we believe very strongly in Paterson," says Eastside resident Joanne Villenueve.
The homes feature such things as delicate china, mahogany-paneled walls and winding staircases.
Walking tours begin at the Eastside Park pavilion at 12 p.m. Sunday and run through 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the tour cost $25.
