New Jersey travelers expecting packed roads after the holiday weekend were in for a surprise Monday night.
Traffic was moving surprisingly well along the Garden State Parkway. Drivers got a smooth ride after having beautiful weather over Memorial Day weekend.
Thousands of people packed the Jersey Shore to enjoy the sand and sun. Many boardwalk storeowners were pleasantly surprised at how well business was over the weekend.
Though there were a couple of slowdowns throughout the day, most drivers say the traffic wasn?t too bad.
