Prosecutor: Hoboken man charged with murder in Jersey City triple shooting that killed one man

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Christoph Terrero Marte, of Jersey City, died and two other men, a 28-year-old from Union City and a 31-year-old from Jersey City, were treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.

A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection to a triple shooting in Jersey City that killed one man and injured two others.
Hudson County prosecutors say Joseph Del Valle, of Hoboken, is facing murder, weapons and assault charges.
Officials say Del Valle shot three people on March 9 around 6:30 a.m. on Jordan Avenue, just a few blocks away from a high school near McGinley Square.
According to prosecutors, 33-year-old Christoph Terrero Marte, of Jersey City, died and two other men, a 28-year-old from Union City and a 31-year-old from Jersey City, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Del Valle was arrested at an address on Summit Avenue in Jersey City and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
Additionally, prosecutors say 42-year-old Francisco Salcedo, of Jersey City, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges. He was arrested on March 11 at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus.
