Gov. Phil Murphy on Thursday signed an executive order that creates a health care advisory board for New Jersey.
Murphy wrote on Twitter that the “Interagency Health Care Affordability Working Group will not only identify areas for lowering costs, but will put forward policy solutions to make it real.”
The governor says that the goal of the order is to make health care more affordable for New Jersey residents – especially during the pandemic.
The board will make recommendations and increase accessibility and transparency among residents.
