Goo Goo Dolls’ John Rzeznik kicks off coronavirus fundraiser for Westfield business community

Westfield Mayor Shelley Brindle announced that the town is partnering with Goo Goo Dolls lead singer John Rzeznik to host a fundraiser to benefit the independently owned Westfield business community during the coronavirus crisis.
Rzeznik is also a Westfield resident.
The campaign has been dubbed #WeLoveLocal. Residents are being asked to donate to the Westfield United Fund. Brindle said that the Goo Goo Dolls would match the first $15,000 made in donations.
The mayor’s announcement was followed by a live performance by Rzeznik streamed on Facebook Live.
