George Washington Bridge upper level reopens after car fire
The upper level of the George Washington Bridge has reopened after a car fire caused the closure of three westbound lanes.
The car fire broke out Tuesday afternoon. Three lanes heading into New Jersey had to be closed, causing massive delays getting out of New York.
A black SUV caught fire. There is no information available about how the fire started or if the driver was hurt.
