A Bushwick eatery offers an all vegan menu to help residents looking for different meal options. 

Francesca Chaney, of Sol Sips, says the menu items have four ingredients or less and are soy free.

“Growing up in East New York and not having those options available to me and then moving out of my neighborhood and seeing that those options were available but at a higher cost, I realized there's some middle ground for us,” she says.

Chaney says she was inspired by her mother who has been vegan for 20 years.

The 21-year-old says supplies are sourced from women-owned businesses.

She says one of the top selling items in the shop is tamarind jackfruit panini.

Chaney hopes to expand the business to other neighborhoods in the next few years.
