A former New Jersey reality TV star and her boyfriend were the victims of a home invasion robbery in Monmouth County.
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo and her boyfriend David Cantin were tied up, assaulted and robbed Saturday night.
Holmdel police say that the couple was punched, hit with a baseball bat, and tied up by a pair of masked intruders. The attackers had apparently already broken into Cantin’s townhome when the couple returned to the home. That is when they were attacked.
Neighbors say that Cantin moved into the home last summer. He apparently only stayed at the home for a day or so every few weeks.
Cantin suffered a broken nose. The thieves were able to get away with money and jewelry, according to police.
Neighbors tell News 12 New Jersey that this wasn’t the first time that the townhome was targeted, but they say that they still feel safe in the neighborhood.
Anyone who may have any information about the robbery is asked to call Holmdel police.
