Forecast: Mostly sunny; rain possible overnight
New Jersey saw mostly sunny skies and nearly perfect weather on Wednesday, but clouds and rain could develop overnight.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures did not reach 90 degrees, ending a 7-day heat wave in the state.
Wednesday's overnight hours are expected to see clouds develop with possibility of a thunderstorm.
Thursday could see scattered showers in the morning, before the weather clears. Temperatures should reach the mid-80s.
Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 90 degrees.
The weekend may see some scattered rain, but Curren says there will also be some sunshine.
