Two teenage boys are facing a long list of criminal charges after allegedly taking part in pranks that could have turned deadly.
Police say the teens pelted 34 cars with rocks earlier this month as they passed underneath an overpass that spans across Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway. The most recent incident occurred on Valentine's Day. In that case, a 9-month-old baby was showered in broken glass. Police say luckily no one was seriously injured in any of the incidents.
The two boys, ages 14 and 17, are being held at the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center. They have been charged with multiple counts of criminal mischief and aggravated assault.
