An American Airlines flight from Miami to Newark was forced to turn around following a mysterious odor in the cockpit.

American Airlines Flight 1060 with 149 passengers aboard was only in the air for 30 minutes before the pilot made the decision to head back to Miami.

At least two pilots and three flight attendants were treated when they landed.

Another flight attendant was taken to the hospital.

None of the passengers requested medical attention.
