A fast-moving three-alarm fire ripped through a row of businesses in Kingsbridge Heights.
Officials say it started at Nizao Grocery Store on Briggs Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. and quickly spread to a Chinese restaurant next door. Express Pharmacy and Briggs Family Pediatrics were also damaged.
Firefighters had the flames under control in less than an hour and say no one was hurt.
The Buildings Department issued a vacate order on all four affected businesses. Owners say they're overwhelmed by how much it will take to rebuild.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
