Feldstein, Lynch to Depart ‘Funny Girl’ on Broadway
The musical “Funny Girl” announced Wednesday that its star, Beanie Feldstein, will end her run as Fanny Brice on Sept. 25.

The musical “Funny Girl” announced Wednesday that its star, Beanie Feldstein, will end her run as Fanny Brice on Sept. 25. Also leaving the show on that date is Jane Lynch who plays Rosie Brice, Fanny's mother.
The first-ever Broadway revival of “Funny Girl” opened at the August Wilson Theatre on April 24.
According to a tweet by the production, casting news on replacements for Feldstein and Lynch will be announced at a later date.
Feldstein has missed recent performances due to contracting COVID-19, according to the production. She is expected to be back in the show on Thursday.
