The Morristown father and son who were held in Angola after a concert they were promoting was canceled were finally able to return to New Jersey.
Family and friends greeted Patrick Allocco and his son, Patrick Jr., at Newark Airport this afternoon, 50 days after they were detained in the southern African country.
The Alloccos are concert promoters and had arranged a New Year's show featuring the popular rapper Nas. When Nas never showed, Angolan authorities detained them for fraud.
Both Patricks say that they were interrogated in Portuguese and had their passports taken from them until this past week.
