Educators re-enacted the Battle of Princeton Sunday ahead of its 242nd anniversary on Jan. 3, which marked a successful victory for George Washington during the American Revolutionary War.

The re-enactment was held at Updike Farm. The battle is considered to be the sequel of the Battle of Trenton, which happened on Dec. 26.

George Washington was victorious over British Gen. Lord Cornwallis during the battle between colonial and British soldiers, that happened after the two armies accidentally ran into each other.

Actors say the Americans were victorious again in the re-enactment.

"You're on a historic ground," says Matt, an American soldier in Sunday's battle. "You just feel it inside."

There were about 80 to 90 actors on the battlefield. Organizers say this is the biggest turnout of spectators in the event's history.
