Police in Jackson say 24-year-old Eric Larson has died from injuries sustained in a July 5 crash.
It happened during a police chase.
Investigators said the driver of a motorcycle took off when officers tried to pull him over.
That driver crashed into Larson's vehicle, and was killed.
Police say the bike was later determined to be unregistered with fake plates.
