One day after a major nor’easter dropped more than 30 inches of snow in New Jersey, dozens of people took to a hill outside the Howell Police Department headquarters to go sledding.
News 12 New Jersey crews saw children, teenagers, parents and grandparents alike spending the snow day having fun.
The sledders used a wide variety of items to sled down the hill, including skateboards without wheels and pool floaties.
A group of kids from Point Pleasant came by to also use the hill and said that a day of fun in the snow was just what they needed after dealing with the stresses of virtual learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
