Dog Day Fridays for Jan. 12
This week's dogs are up for adoption at the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 300 Horseblock Rd. in Brookhaven. Their phone number is (631) 451-6950.
Daphne is a very happy, energetic and loving girl. She loves belly rubs. Daphne arrived at the shelter after being picked up as a stray by a good Samaritan. Daphne is 50 pounds, estimated to be about 6 to 8 years young, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and heartworm negative.
Happy Hale is an energetic and playful guy who is full of life. He regularly has doggie play-dates at the shelter. Hale is looking for love and hopes his lucky day happens very soon. He is 40 pounds, estimated to be 2 years young. He's up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. 
Sweet Sugar Plum arrived at the shelter as a stray after being picked up by a good Samaritan. She is playful and enjoys her time outside. Sugar Plum is super sweet and will make a loyal and loving best friend. She is about 50 pounds, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
Pet adoption is not the only way you can help animal shelters. You can also donate food and volunteer.
