Death of Bayonne resident Pablo Caamano in Woodbridge probed as homicide
Police in Middlesex County say that the death of a 33-year-old Bayonne man is being investigated as a homicide.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office confirms that Pablo Caamano was found suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. He was found inside his parked car on Randolph Avenue in Woodbridge around 3:20 a.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at 4:07 a.m.
Officials say that Bayonne resident Amarlis Calderon, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of hindering police by lying to investigators and for disposing of a knife.
Calderon was also charged with tampering with evidence. Her bail was set at $75,000.
Anyone who might have any information about Caamano's death is asked to contact Sgt. Frank Robina of the New Jersey State Police at 609-947-6024, or Detective Craig Marchak of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at 732-745-3254.
Editor's Note: New Jersey State Police originally said that the death occurred in Carteret and not Woodbridge
