Construction workers help stranded motorist refuel
Some good Samaritan construction workers helped a stranded motorist who ran out of fuel.
Video of the exchange was sent to News 12 New Jersey by witness Thomas Scarano.
Scarano says that the man ran out of gas while on the Route 37 Bridge heading into Seaside Park. He says that traffic was backed up for miles because the bridge is only one lane.
The crews working on the bridge were able to come to the rescue by putting some fuel in the bucket-shovel of a piece of heavy equipment and bringing it over to the man.
Traffic was moving again a short time later.
