A Jersey City Municipal Utility Authority project will likely impact traffic in Hoboken, starting Monday morning.
The work is expected to last two weeks.
The water main replacement project will happen along Marin Boulevard between 18th Street and Observer Highway weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
There will also be a street closure from 18th Street westbound between Park Lane and Grove Street in Jersey City.
The same closures will also be in effect from 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, through 12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19.
Construction will continue during regular hours starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Motorists are advised to use Grove Street or Jersey Avenue or northern routes into and out of Hoboken during work hours.
Motorists are also advised to leave extra time for travel in and around the impacted area.
Police from Hoboken and Jersey City will be present to help motorists with the detours.
JCMUA says customers may experience low water pressure during working hours.
