A Clifton fireboat that went over the Dundee Falls in the Passaic River on Wednesday remains in the water.
Officials said that the boat could be taken out sometime Friday.
State troopers had to rescue two firefighters who were on the boat when it went over the waterfall. Those firefighters were attempting to rescue three construction workers who were stranded on the river.
The fireboat got caught in the current and floated down the falls.
No one was seriously hurt.
