Governor-elect Chris Christie claimed a mandate from New Jersey voters Thursday and pledged to work across party lines during a visit to Woodbridge.
"I don't believe I'm going to have a problem dealing on a personal level with the folks in the opposite party," says Christie. "We'll disagree on certain things and where we do, we'll have it out and we'll see who wins."
Christie, a Republican, carried the historically Democratic stronghold of Woodbridge on his way to a Tuesday night victory over Jon Corzine.
"I'm not going to be someone who accepts failure as an option, so I'm coming to Woodbridge because they're having success here," Christie says.
