Carteret will soon offer ferry service to Manhattan, a new way to commute to New York City from Central Jersey

The transformation of the Waterfront Park includes a new park, new public boat slips and 2 miles of public access – so a ferry terminal seems like the logical next step in reshaping the shore of the Arthur Kill.

Carteret still hopes to get additional funding from the feds.
