Counseling was made available Monday for students at Morris Knolls High School after a car struck a student who was leaving a football game.
The incident happened Friday night on Route 46 in Dover.
Dover school officials say that the student was hit while crossing the highway as he was leaving the game.
"Counseling will be available on Monday for any of our students who may have witnessed the accident or know the student," a school Facebook post stated.

The post says the student is being treated for serious injuries. His name was not released to the public.
