The Camden County Board of Freeholders will unveil their own memorial of remembrance and hope Monday to honor families and victims of the opioid crisis.
The memorial will feature a large purple ribbon, which is the symbol of opioid addiction awareness, and a spiraling, sloped wall.
Freeholders say it's time to start having a conversation about addiction, calling opioid abuse a public health crisis.
