The one-year anniversary of the date that a 5-year-old girl went missing in South Jersey is soon approaching - and her family and friends are still fighting to find her.
Dulce Maria Alvarez went missing from a Bridgeton park on Sept. 16, 2019.

On Sunday, the mayor and members of the community honored her at the park, praying that she will be found.
Officials say they are still searching for the man they believe took her from the park, and are hopeful she will be found alive.
Bridgeton Mayor Albert Kelly is urging anyone who was in the park that day to come forward with information - even if they don't think it is important.
"Someone had to see something. Maybe they didn't realize what they were looking at and seeing at the time but hopefully the ongoing publicity and ongoing photos will shake their memory and make them come forward," said Kelly.
