SUEZ Water announced that the advisory was lifted at 4 p.m. Thursday. The company says that lab results showed that the drinking water quality met all regulatory requirements. The advisory was issued construction crews broke a 36-inch water main near Route 7. That main feeds water into both cities.
Residents were without water for a time, prompting water tankers to be brought in for some of the area hospitals that are treating COVID-19 patients.
