An animal rights group is planning a protest this weekend against an officer who fatally shot a dog last week.
Patrolman Emmanuel Rivera was called to Vernon after someone reported an aggressive dog.
Bodycam video shows Rivera shooting the dog as it ran towards him, barking.
He can be heard telling the dog to "stop" and "back away" before shooting.
