A traffic accident on Route 495 in Weehawken near the Lincoln Tunnel caused traffic issues during the morning commute.

Authorities have released very few details, but the crash is believed to have involved a bus. All lanes on the highway going westbound were blocked for a time.

It was unclear if anyone was injured.

The traffic issues come as a major construction project is underway on Route 495. The project, expected to last over two years, will replace an 80-year-old bridge in the area.
