(AP) - Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in New Brunswick last weekend that left a man and juvenile wounded.
Authorities say 24-year-old Christopher Smith, of Franklin Township, and 23-year-old Tywaan Bailey, of Edison, are both charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and two weapons offenses. It wasn't clear Wednesday if bail had been set for either man or if they had retained lawyers.
The charges stem from a shooting that occurred around Sunday afternoon on Class Place. A possible motive remains under investigation.
Authorities say 22-year-old Anthony Brown, of New Brunswick, was shot in the hand and the buttocks, while a 17-year-old boy was shot once in the chest.
Both victims remained hospitalized Wednesday in stable condition.
