Connecticut to see hot, humid first day of summer ahead of evening scattered showers

It will be hot and humid to start the workweek in Connecticut, which will also bring scattered showers Monday night.
Today will see sunny skies with humid conditions and temperatures in the mid-80s. Clouds will increase throughout the day as short-lived storms around 7 p.m.
A secondary front is expected to bring rain on Tuesday as temperatures drop to the upper 60s and low 70s.
The temperatures pick up back into the 70s on Wednesday which will consist of a mix of sun and clouds.
The rest of the week will see warm and sunny conditions with the next chance of rain for the weekend.
