Skies clear overnight; temperatures continue to rise into next week

New Jersey residents should prepare themselves for rising temperatures over the course of the next few days, with rising humidity.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the upcoming week has the potential to have six straight days of temperatures above 90 degrees.
Thursday’s overnight hours will see the skies clear, with a few clouds sticking around. Temperatures will cool into the upper-60s.
Friday will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming into the upper-80s. Partly cloudy skies will develop by the evening hours, with cloudy overnight hours. Temperatures will cool into the 70s.
Saturday will see cloudy skies, with the possibility of a stray thunderstorm. Temperatures will be in the upper-80s. Some clouds will remain overnight, with temperatures cooling into the low-70s.
Sunday will see partly cloudy skies, with another possibility for a thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid- to upper-80s. Partly cloudy skies will remain overnight, with temperatures around 71 degrees.
Monday will start off a stretch of temperatures potentially rising above 90 degrees. Partly cloudy skies are expected.
