Violent crime on the rise in NJ

New numbers have been released that show crime has increased the most in Northern New Jersey.
New numbers out show the state's murder rate was up 16 percent in 2010 over the prior year. In Bergen County, the murder rate jumped 175 percent. Passaic County saw its murder rate jump 18 percent.
Rates for other crimes rose also. Statewide in 2010, robberies were up 2 percent and burglaries were up 5 percent.
