Temps rise into the 60s today as heavy rain, thunderstorms possible later in the week

News 12 forecasters are tracking a storm system that could bring heavy rain and possible thunderstorms later this week to parts of New Jersey
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says Thursday will see cloudy skies with some periods of rain throughout the day. Gregorio says thunderstorms could be possible as well. Rain could also be heavy at times. Temperatures will be in the low-50s.
Partly sunny skies are expected today with temperatures in the low-60s.
Tonight, will see mainly cloudy skies with temperatures cooling into the high-40s.
Wednesday will see mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are expected to be in the high-60s. Conditions will be mild.
Steadier rain showers are expected by Wednesday night and continuing into Thursday. Overnight temperatures will be in the high-40s.
