Two representatives are condemning what they call anti-gay statements made by Hasbrouck Heights Mayor Jack DeLorenzo.
DeLorenzo beat Chris Hillmann, an openly gay candidate, in last week's election. DeLorenzo wrote on Facebook, "The family values of our town have prevailed," after he won the election.

Reps. Bill Pascrell and Josh Gottheimer released a statement saying, "There is no place for anti-gay bigotry in our communities or within our political institutions. These comments are the exact opposite of our Jersey values and family values. Mr. DeLorenzo should apologize immediately."
